I LOVE TO PAINT!!
I'm pictured here with the very first collector of my artwork -- my mom.
Before beginning a new painting I think about my past work and decide where I want to go from there. Working a series directs my energies to one idea- experimenting and pushing these ideas further with each painting. My work is about contrasts and relationships. Each painting is a multi-layered abstraction and the only reality is the reality of the work itself. It is through these ideas that I explore the senses. A new canvas is always an exciting journey with a surprising ending.
