ABOUT PAINTINGS

Using only the highest quality canvas, the preparation of the canvas can take 6 or more hours and is lovingly and caringly prepared by Linda's husband Michael. Stretchers are used to allow the painting to stand away from the wall anywhere from 2” – 4”. They are braced to prevent warping and they are beveled so that nothing but the edge of the stretcher ever touches the canvas. This prevents unwanted lines in the canvas.

Combining the skill of the canvas preparation with Linda's talent to create a beautiful work of art produces a final product that is both remarkable and exquisite. Some of the paintings can be described as being sculpture-like and could stand on the floor on their own as well as hang on or away from the wall.
